The "In Turn" Button in Online Poker

In playing online poker, one will surely encounter a button which is identified as "In Turn". What does this button do? This "In Turn" button lets an online poker player to act even before it is his turn to act. That is, his own computer already recognizes what he intends to do, and this information is sent to other players when his turn to act has arrived. This available option in online poker presents both advantages and disadvantages.

The "in Turn" button becomes an advantage to online poker when the player is involved in other activities aside from playing online gambling. That is, with four players to go before one's turn, one can decide to bet, call, raise, and fold even before one's turn comes. And such a decision can be recorded and then sent at the appropriate time. After clicking the "In Turn" button, the online poker player may continue watering the plants or sautéing the food. Or the online poker player can play the other poker game.

However, this online poker feature may also present several disadvantages, especially if the poker player's computer is suffering a delay in Internet connection. One disadvantage is not being able to click the right button at the right time. That is, the poker player may be thinking that his turn to act has not yet arrived but the online casino is already waiting for his decision.

For example, when the poker player attempts to click the "check in turn" button, thinking that his turn has not come up, but the "call" button pops up right at the last fraction of a second, then the action registered is "call" and not "check". This definitely messes up the strategy of the poker player.

Another disadvantage is that the poker player loses money that he did not intend to bet. For example, while waiting for the small blind to make a decision, the poker player decides to "check in turn". But suddenly, the "call" button was recognized. This meant that the poker player has decreased his bankroll needlessly. If this happens often enough, the poker bankroll is in a dire situation.

In other words, the poker player should be extra careful when using the "In Turn" button. Such a button presents several advantages, but there will be disadvantages, too. And when the computer is experiencing a delayed Internet connection, the poker player should avoid using the "In Turn" button.

Despite this particular technological glitch, playing online poker remains exciting and satisfying. And when one plays well, one can spend profitable hours gambling online .
